Greek Civil War Refugees
Shortly before the end of the Greek Civil War, the Communist Party of Greece decides to evacuate 28 000 children in socialist neighbour countries in order to save them from acts of retaliation of the right-wing Royalists. About 1200 of these children are being hosted in the German Democratic Republic.
